Bamboo Logo Necklace
Bamboo’s environmental benefits arise largely out of its ability to grow and spread quickly — in some cases three to four feet per day — without the need for fertilizers, pesticides or much water.
Bamboo is so fast-growing that it can yield 20 times more timber than trees on the same area. There are some 1,000 different species of bamboo growing in very diverse climates throughout the world, including the southeastern United States.

Whoo Knew
WHOO knew? The northern spotted owl is on the list of endangered species list. The biggest threat to the northern spotted owl is loss of old growth forest habitat as a result of logging and forest fragmentation. This is just one of the species that are facing extinction if we don’t bring this issue to the forefront. Which is why, Nose Go (whoo loves owls) and Verde Styles (whoo loves the environment) have decided to collaborate in hopes to resolve this issue. Let’s go OWLS!

Man O' Warning
A sudden swarm of poisonous jellyfish have erupted from deep under the sea! This natural phenomenon is ruthlessly cutting down our current seafood supply and is crippling industries worldwide who thrive off of the strong fishing season. The constant polluting of our seas is a strong food source for the jellies which is a prime reason as to why they migrate toward our shores. Stop pollution now or fear the next king of the sea, the Man o' War!

Bubble Trouble
Did you know that average temperatures have climbed 1.4 degrees Fahrenheit around the world since 1880? And it's not stopping there. You could say that this shirt is "poles apart" from any one you've seen before because it is unique and charming. The meager snowman in the design is feeling the effects of global warming. He is melting away and is blowing green bubbles into the sky to accentuate the significance of going green.

Ridin' Clean
Music? Bicycles? What do they have in common? Well to us, it is a clean energy alternative that is fun and eco-friendly. Verde Styles partnered with the Temple University Engineering Dept. to make a very interactive way of powering music through bike pedal generators, which we show off at concerts and events. The unique design, equipped with a fancy mustache, was created in collaboration with a local Philly artist, Nosego. Come out and help us make sweet, sweet music on our green mean ridin’ machine in hope of turning our boring bicycle into a "musicyle"!

Patreeotic
Today we are all fighting the war on saving our environment. The weapon of choice for Verde Styles is our word. By spreading awareness about the current issues in our environment, we believe that we can recruit more allies in our fight for environmental action. We have chosen American Apparel as our ally because of their ethical business model. Our tees come from a sweatshop free factory right here in the US. Every tree planted is another recruit in our fight for the environment and a step closer to "10,000 for the Planet." Let’s go to battle!
