Today I am going to be introducing one of the most important people in my life. His name is Matthew Muchnick or better known as Munch, Ann Weaver Hart, or as I call him, Matt. He’s the President and Founder of Verde Styles and before that he is my best friend, my brother, and my go-to-guy in any situation. I’ve been best friends with this kid since the 10th grade of high school. When looking back, I would have never thought we were going to be starting a green clothing line together and would have never thought we would have made it as far as we have. With his creative and crazy ideas combined with my boring and sane ideas we have put this company together to where it is now. Without Matt, Verde Styles would not be where it is right now. His hard work, dedication and of course the LUCK has gotten us this far in business.

Although Matt and I have different points of views when looking at things, bringing different minds to the table results in the most productive ideas. In case you don’t know what he looks like, he is the 70’s guy rockin’ the friendly mutton chops in the picture above and I am Flavor Flav!! Yeah boiii! …or so I attempted to be haha.

Nish Patel - CEO and founder of Verde Styles - A green apparel company

As you may know, I am going to be introducing the Verde team this week.   I’ll start by introducing myself.  My full name is Nishid Patel but most people know me as Nish or Nishy poo or better yet Nish the Fish.  I can keep going but I think you got the idea.  I am the C.E.O and Founder of Verde Styles.   I am 21 years old and I am a business student at Temple University.   Working with the Verde Styles team has been an awesome experience and I can only hope it gets better in the future.   I’ve always had a passion for the environment and to do something that has an impact on the world. I grew up around entrepreneurs like my father, so he has had a big impact on inspiring me to do all of this.   I founded this company to not only support myself in the future but to also support the community around me.   After 2 years of pursuing my dream and not having much support or funding I’ve learned that everything comes in due time.   I finally have a feeling that the Verde Styles team has what it takes to be successful.  Hence, I am going to be introducing each and every Verde Styles team member this week as they joined the company.  So check back this week to see the b-e-a-utiful faces of Verde Styles (including myself).

Pepsi Refresh Project Winners

First off, I want to start by thanking Pepsi Co. and everyone that voted for us in the Pepsi Refresh Project. We couldn’t have done it without you!
