Humans aren't the only species living on Earth that are affected by global warming. While we do deal with these issues every day, polar bears on the other hand, are caught in a struggle in which their existence on this planet is ultimately in jeopardy. Warming waters in the North Pole are causing dramatic decreases in the size of the ice caps. These areas are the habitat in which the polar bear thrives. Their primary food source, the seal, also is found primarily in this habitat. With melting ice caps, Polar Bears have to swim further and further due to the decreased amount of land. As a result, polar Bears are becoming Stranded.
