Imagine a world without tigers. These majestic big cats have ruled the rain forest as well as our imaginations for over a million years. But since the past 100 years, the tigers numbers have fallen radically by about 95% and there is possibly as little as 3,200 left. Tigers are going extinct due to the loss of habitual land and the act of pouching by men. Tiger skins and body parts are considered valuable medicines in some parts of the world. By the end of the last century, three species have gone extinct and 6 more are in danger of following in the same footsteps.
